Fog, then rain in early morning—clouds broke around 10:30 & the sun came out. Some reading & T.V.—ABC’s “This Week.” Lunch at 12:30 & then the Davis’s & Reagans helicoptered to S. Lawn of the W.H. Dick, Patty & Geoff are headed back to Phil. by train. Maureen & Dennis were on hand to greet us. A lazy afternoon—some reading & T.V. for the Bears vs. the Redskins—Bears 34 to 14. Then off to a dinner party at the home of Wm. & Buffy Caffritz. A nice time with 3 tables of 10 each. A very enjoyable evening. Home & bed by 11 P.M.
