Off to Tennessee—1st the University for a seminar. The U. is engaged in a partnership with business & industry to promote applied research for the development of new industries & technology for Tenn. It was successful.
Then helicoptered to Athens (pop. 14,000). Addressed an outdoor rally of at least 25,000 on tax reform. They were enthusiastic and all out for the program. A.F.1 back to Wash.
