President Reagan makes a radio address to the Nation about the President's Central American peace plan.
The President and First Lady enjoy lunch with many of their close friends.
Up early, a nice breakfast for 6 and then my radio cast. Also did a radio plug for broadcast to Central America re the peace plan. Repeated my pledge to Freedom Fighters.
(Then Bill & Earl joined our morning ride. Nancy stayed home with Billy & Marion. It was great) [crossed out]
The above was getting me crossed up with Friday.
So it’s Sat. the caterers are doing their thing and toward noon the 70 guests began to arrive. It really was a nice affair, a big lunch & so many of our friends on hand in magnificent weather. Ron, Doria & C. Z. Wick waited around after the guests had gone. We had a nice visit. Then it was a very light dinner & bed.
