Staff time without the V.P. He’s in Iowa. Some talk about Bork & last nights broadcast featuring all the Dem. Cand’s. for Pres. There was a lot of Demagoguery.

Then I received a trophy as the “Vol. of the Year” because of my promotion of volunteerism. Then a meeting with John Kevin Hill—the 11 yr. old who piloted his plane across the U.S. Several other photos with departing appointees & Calif. visitors.
At 5:30 a reception in East Room for “Human Events” & Radio Am. No press so I did Q&A & loved every minute of it.
