The usual 2 morning meetings—later after desk work a luncheon—st. dining room with Citizens for America. This was followed by a meeting with Geo. S.—spent most of time on Middle East muddle. Had a haircut & then a Bipartisan Cong. ldrship. meeting on Arms Control. It went well.
Some desk work & then up to get ready for dinner with White House Correspondents at Wash. Hilton. Had to make a short Gridiron type speech. Got some laughs & home at 10:30. Earlier Mike R. had called to thank us again for our session with him at the ranch.
