A long day of budget sessions with the Cabinet Council on economics. It’s going to be a long, hard struggle with unemployment still up and a massive deficit hanging over us. We’ll be back at it tomorrow. Met with Allied Sup. C.O. of N.A.T.O. Gen. Rogers. He’s a fine man & General. A meeting also on our falling exports.
