A nice crisp ride Sat. afternoon. Made some phone calls—one on Sunday to Coach Eddie Robinson Sat. night. Grambling won a football game which gave Coach Eddie the all time record for games won as a coach. He’s been at it 44 yrs.
We’re back at the W.H. waiting to see if Sen. (now in session) can shut off Bob Byrds filibuster and pass the Gramm, Rudman bill as an amendment to the extension of the debt ceiling. We are out of money as of tomorrow.
