On Sat. did my radio bit then in the afternoon a good horse back ride. The day was punctuated with a few calls from John P. on the secure phone bringing me up to date on the latest meetings with Geo. S. and the F.M. Nothing sensational—the ball is in their court now.
Sun. the usual format—T.V. talk shows, lunch back to the W.H. Had to dress up & host a reception for all those donors who have helped with the re-doing of Blair House—a lot of old & dear friends. They have raised $4 mil. It was fun & then we went upstairs & they went to dinner at the St. Dept.
