Received report (annual) from Intelligence Oversight Board. A good report. Another of Maureens special lunches for Repub. women office holders & candidates. These are good meetings & Mermie has done a fine thing in getting them established. George S. & I met—the subject was Gorbachev & the summit meeting. Then an interview T.V. with the Hispanic radio & T.V. net—approximate audience 10 mil. A long taping session & then it was Fri. the 13th. [Of ] course I goofed & had to take 2nd takes several times. Then off to Camp D. Temp. there was in the 50’s.
