Key Facts
President Reagan speaks with Secretary of State George Shultz on the telephone about his visit to the Marshall Islands.
Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini accepts a truce with Iraq, even though he says the decision is like drinking poison.
Another beautiful day with a nice cool breeze. As usual a ride to start the day. A cable from Geo. S. from the Marshall Islands. He reports our relation there is very good. Lunch on the patio again then off to our tree pruning. Actually had to cut a tree down it was so bent over. Rcv’d. word Courtney was rear ended in Santa Barbara this afternoon. No one hurt but our ford truck is pretty smashed in I guess. Phoned Giselle MacKenzie to thank her for sending the tape of our show together some 30 yrs. or so ago.
Dinner & another quiet evening.
