Most of the day given over to Ottawa & Cabinet meeting on our immigration problems. The Haitians and the criminal Cubans Castro sent us mixed in with the refugees our 2 greatest problems. Went to a small but pleasant dinner at Ex. Sen. John Sherman Cooper’s home. A nice evening—interesting talk with Lady Henderson (Ambas’s. wife).
