Jimmy Roosevelt came in to see me about the Centennial Birthday of F.D.R. next year. I agree there should be appropriate ceremonies. Began the briefing for the Ottawa Summit. A lot to do & I wonder if it’s worth it. Had to get dressed up for a drop by at the reception for top labor leaders.
