An in & out day—main business was a Cabinet Council meeting on Simpsons Immigration bill—met with him later in the day & am supporting it along with some amendments to smooth out a few glitches. A couple of other items were no trouble. Lunch with Don R. to talk about schedule for next several months. [. . .] A series of photos—agents & staff members leaving etc. Very quietly Justice Dept. has issued warrants for 3 hi-jackers who did the TWA job & the murder of Stetham.
Tomorrow—I go to Bethesda for removal of the colon polyp. The press is playing it like major surgery.
