Helicoptered to Phil. with a stop on the way at a farm. Did Q&A with a large crowd of farmers. Sec. Block was on hand as was Gov. Thornburgh, both Sens. & others. The session went well as did my luncheon speech (Thornburgh fund raiser) in Phil. Then 2 late afternoon 2 receptions for Sen. Heinz. All affairs went well. Saw Lee and Walter. Back to a lonely W.H. Nancy & Dick are in Chicago for the “Loyal Davis Chair” at Northwestern U. Wait til I tell Nancy a calf was born at the Pa. farm this morning & they named it Nancy.
