Radio spot—on Soviet relations—then a phone call to Margaret Thatcher re the tragic accident the capsizing on the Ferry from Zeebruge [Belgium] to Dover. Possibly 130 dead. A call also to Cece Zorinsky (Sen. Z.’s wife—now widow). The Sen. was doing a song in the Omaha presses Gridiron show. He dropped dead of a heart attack.
