Met with Eliz. Dole—she truly is doing a fantastic job. She has put together such groups of citizens covering every sector—Ethnic groups, bus. assns. etc. She’s held 1000 meetings in this last year. And all those people heed her call when we need Cong. to hear the voice of the people. Met also with our hard nosed conservative friends. I think we eased their minds that our admin. is not jumping ship. Dinner with Frank Reynolds & his wife.
