At desk in Study most of the day. Forgot to note that last night had a very nice evening here at the W.H.—a dinner for the Schweikers, Edwards, Watts, Baldriges & Cap W. Tonite a dinner for a distinguished group including the Polish Ambassador (now a refugee here) & his wife. We ran the Polish picture which was the last to be smuggled out—“Men of Iran.” It was most moving & made all of us more determined than ever to help these people.
