President and Mrs. Reagan travel from Palm Springs to their home in Los Angeles, CA.

Rose Parade & Rose Bowl day. Our luggage was moved out & at 9:30 A.M. All the goodbyes were said & we were on our way to the Palm Springs airport. Fess Parker & a few others were there to see us off. On to A.F.1 & off to L.A. A beautiful day & warmer than it’s been. Nancy worn out & suffering from a cold. I did desk work answering a stack of letters with photos. Then watched Mich. beat U.S.C. 22 to 14. A shower, hair wash & dinner time. A little T.V. watching with our coffee & then to bed.
