Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute
Introducing the Ronald Reagan Great American Leadership Program for Students and Families. Join us for expert-led programs filled with interactive simulations, collaborative projects, and team-building experiences that nurture the next generation of leaders and create cherished family memories.
On February 12, we celebrated the extraordinary leadership qualities exemplified by Medal of Honor recipients Staff Sergeant Clinton Romesha and Specialist 5 Dwight Birdwell.
We challenge students in grades 9-12 to emulate the style of presidential debates of old, avoiding the use of jargon and speed, instead emphasizing practical communication skills like civility, personality, humor and story telling.
On February 15, Ronald Reagan Oratory Finalists from around the world competed in Washington, DC. Congratulations to our middle school winner, Varnika Kharkwal, an 8th grade student from Pat and Catherine Fowler Middle School in Plano, TX. Our high school winner, Alitheia West, a junior homeschooled in Chesapeake, VA walked away with a $1000 scholarship.
