The President and First Lady attend the Wilsons' and Jorgensens' annual dinner at the El Dorado Country Club, Palm Springs, CA.

Golf in the P.M.—I did a morning stint on the practice range. As usual some good shots & some lousy ones. Walter didn’t play but drove the golf cart. Lunch with some of the house guests newly arrived—the Smiths, Wilsons etc. Then some more golf & a rub down. Dinner was the usual big one at El Dorado C.C. hosted by the Wilsons & Jorgensons—a nice evening.
