President Reagan places a call to the U.S. Ambassador to N.A.T.O., Dave Abshire, to ask him to be the new N.S.C. advisor.

Saw Dick, Patti, Geoff & Ann plus Anns Boyfriend Jon on their way. Jon & Ann got engaged while they were here. I made a call to N.A.T.O. Ambas. Dave Abshire who is going to be our N.S.C. advisor. Then downstairs for a haircut. Back up to packing for our trip to Palm Springs which begins tomorrow morning.
