Sat. a beautiful & not too cold a day. Phoned King Hussein. Call paid off. He was very upset with me over the press accounts of our talks with Israelis & he’s due Sun. A.M. on Brinkley’s show. We had a good talk & it was apparent on that Sun. show. Back to the W.H. Ted Graber & his volunteers have finished the Xmas decorations. The place is a fairyland. Tonite to the Christmas show—Andy Williams in charge, Army Chorus et al.
