Key Facts
President Reagan addresses a crowd of 14,000 at the State House Convention Center in Little Rock, AR.
President Reagan visits the birthplace of John Wayne.
A wonderful rally at the State House Conv. Center. It had been scheduled for about 4000. All the fire regulations were scrapped & we wound up with 14,000. Then on to Des Moines Iowa airport & Marine 1 to Winterset. This was an outdoor event with a crowd several times larger than the local population. After the rally I visited the John Wayne birthplace. Two of his daughters were on hand. Then to Milwaukee Wis. where Nancy was waiting for me. We went to a dinner at the Wesley Park Sr. Center—a most pleasant evening. Then to the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Catholic Church Cultural Hall for a rally & overnight at a hotel.
