Lunch on the balcony—the mall is already swarming with people. Spending most of the time at my desk in the study—clearing out.

Phone call from Robbie Stetham’s father—thanking us for going to Robbie’s grave.

Tonight 14 of us at dinner & to watch the fireworks from the balcony. It was very pleasant—the Regans, Wicks, MacFarlanes, the George Wills, Oatsie, Bill Webster, Pam Wick & her boyfriend. The W.H. lawn was well populated also with our W.H. people & their families.
