Brief meeting with Pres. Toure of Guinea. He’s come all the way from Karl Marx to free enterprise. Most of day spent on briefing for Press Conf. I had the usual jitters but apparently it went well. Lots of questions re Haig—Lebanon— Women’s Rts. etc. Tomorrow—Calif. until the 11th of July.
