Since last Tues. it’s been Calif. On Tues. I spoke to 7000 employees at the plant in Calif. where the Apollo & the Space Shuttle were and are made. It was a heartwarming afternoon—did Q&A with a warm and enthusiastic group. Tues. night addressed a Rep. fund raiser & then we flew to the ranch. Wed. through Sat. at the ranch. Wed. so foggy we were housebound all day. I called Congressmen re the budget which we lost—but so did the Dems. So there is no budget. Rode Thurs., Fri. & Sat. Never saw the sun til Sat. afternoon & of course, it was beautiful this morning when we had to leave.
