A beautiful sunshiny day. Phoned Mark Weinberg in Paris to wish him a happy 30th birthday. Left Camp D. & helicoptered back to the W.H.—A quiet evening at home. One bit of unhappy news. Bill Casey is back in the G.W.H. [hospital] for a tracheotomy. His lungs have filled up again & there is an increase of pressure on his brain.
