President and Mrs. Reagan address the Annual Gridiron Club Dinner.

Up a little later than usual. Did my radio cast in Oval O. Spent most of afternoon finishing a book (reading it that is) about Calif ’s. channel islands.
Then it was off to the Gridiron. As always it was a fun night which went on til almost midnight. Nancy did a song backed by the whole cast & based on “Thanks for the Memories.” She was great. My jokes went well also—my response to the toast.
