Diary Entry - 02/19/1982

Should have added yesterday our dinner for the Diplomatic Corps. This time Dobrynan was here as Dean of the Corps. Everything we’ve heard is true—they are a most likeable couple. In fact so much so you wonder how they can stick with the phoniness of the Soviet system. Now—Friday—a quiet day. Came home early. Mr. & Mrs. Jack Lemmon & a friend came by for cocktails. It was fun.
