President Reagan travels to Camp David for the weekend.

The usual staff meetings—a meeting with top welfare reform experts form around the country. A good meeting & they are all gung ho to help.
Lunch with the V.P. & a meeting with Geo. S. Then the high spot of the day—a meeting with the Super Bowl Champs—the N.Y. Giants. They presented me with Jerseys & a replica of their Super Bowl ring. I had a surprise for them. I dumped a GatorAid container on them—only it contained popcorn.
They retaliated by dumping the bottom half on me.
Then we were off to Camp D. where it was only 19°.
