A Bright, warm (50°) day. Did radiocast at Oval O. on Contra aid. A quiet afternoon & then off to the annual Alfalfa dinner. Don R. was the Alfalfa nominee for Pres. Everything of course was comedy. As usual I closed the show. My routine was very well received—more & bigger laughs than I had anticipated. Home at 11 P.M. & bed.
