Don R. is talking with Bill Caseys Dr’s. about our idea of telling Bill we want to replace him at C.I.A. but then when he’s up to it we’ll put him in a Cabinet level position at the W.H.
Called Cong. Sil Conte. He’s just back from the hospital. Learned he has cancer of the Prostate. Before I finished talking to him he began to cry.
Nancy gave our Dr’s. a tour of the upstairs. They are very nice & were greatly pleased. I continue to make good progress—according to the Dr’s. amazingly good.
Ran a 90 min. tape Bill Rusher has done for Pub. broadcasting which depicts the shaping of the conservative movement from late 50’s up to present. Then to bed. A good night with only 3 interruptions.
