Michael (Mikey) Schwartz is a policy assistant in the Reagan Institute’s Center for Civics, Education, and Opportunity. Before beginning his role as a policy assistant, Mikey was an intern at the Reagan Institute. He graduated from Brandeis University, where he was a Humanities Fellow, with a B.A. in Politics summa cum laude. His thesis, for which he was awarded highest honors, investigated the ethics of plea bargaining, and he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa society. He previously served as an intern at the Forum for American Leadership, the United States Attorney’s Office, and a government affairs firm in DC. Mikey participated in the Tikvah Fund’s Beren Summer Fellowship and was a member of the Tikvah Collegiate Forum. At Brandeis, he was the editor-in-chief of the Brandeis Journal of Politics and the Brandeis Judaic Studies Journal, and he served on the board of his religious community. Mikey hails from Newton, Massachusetts.
