Please join us for an in-person event with American Television Host and Author Pete Hegseth for his new book, Battle for the American Mind: Uprooting a Century of Miseducation (Publish Date: June 14, 2022). Pete Hegseth will be joined on stage in conversation with his co-author David Goodwin. Copies of their book can be pre-purchased through our website’s registration process. The event is free to attend; Reservations are not required for this event. All walk-ins are welcome.
Battle for the American Mind is more than a book; it’s a field guide for remaking school in the United States. According to the authors, we need to recover a lost philosophy of education – grounded in virtue and excellence – that can arm future generations to fight for freedom.
Pete Hegseth currently serves as a co-host of FOX News Channel's (FNC) FOX & Friends Weekend. Prior to joining FNC, Hegseth held the position of CEO for Concerned Veterans for America. Previously, he was an infantry Captain in the Army National Guard, and has served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay. He holds two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman Badge for his time in Iraq and Afghanistan.
David Goodwin is a founding board member and was headmaster of The Ambrose School in Boise, Idaho for 13 years. He is the editor of The Classical Difference Magazine, and president of the Association of Classical Christian Schools.
