Overview
Please join the Reagan Institute on Thursday, September 9 at 10:30 am ET for “Digital Defense and Deterrence: America’s Cybersecurity Posture.” The virtual event will feature America’s first National Cyber Director, Chris Inglis, and Dave Levy of Amazon Web Services. Michael Allen of Beacon Global Strategies will serve as moderator, and Reagan Institute Director Roger Zakheim will provide introductory remarks.
The conversation will focus on the future of U.S. cyber defenses across the national security interagency. The panelists will discuss recent congressional policy interventions (including creating the National Cyber Director position), the Biden Administration’s approach to cyber, the importance of a unified cyber strategy, and how private sector partners can bolster U.S. cyber readiness.
This programming is hosted by the Center for Peace Through Strength, which promotes U.S. national security policy grounded in President Reagan's philosophy that a strong American military is the best deterrent against aggression and safeguard for peace.
