Overview

You are invited to join the Reagan Institute for a virtual event on Wednesday, June 22, titled, “Countering Foreign Information Operations: Developing a Whole of Society Approach to Build Resilience.” Hosted by our Center for Freedom and Democracy, the event will feature opening remarks from Microsoft President Brad Smith who will then join a panel discussion with Senator Angus King (I-ME), McCain Institute Executive Director Dr. Evelyn Farkas, and American Enterprise Institute Senior Fellow Klon Kitchen. Reagan Institute Director Roger Zakheim will moderate the conversation.

Russia’s unprecedented hybrid war in Ukraine has challenged the United States and democracies around the world to think anew about how to combat cyber attacks and foreign information operations alongside physical violence. What is the role of the government, private sector, and civil society in protecting against this complex threat?

The event will take place from 10:00–11:30AM ET.
