Overview

Eighty years ago, the tides of WWII changed through Operation Overlord and the landings on D-Day. President Reagan brilliantly marked that day in 1984 when he delivered one of his most famous speeches highlighting the selfless and heroic actions of the “boys of Pointe du Hoc.” Panelists will provide a historical look at our world 80 years ago, and address the implications of President Reagan’s peace through strength policies on today’s world.
