In Brothers After War, a film executive produced by Gary Sinise, Jake Rademacher embeds with four combat units and films his brothers’ experiences as Soldiers in Iraq. Rademacher witnesses secret reconnaissance missions on the Syrian border, sniper “hide sites” in the Sunni Triangle, and fierce gun battles with the Marines and Iraqi Army. Intercutting footage past and present, he leads us on an insightful, humorous, and moving journey as we watch twelve men and women explore loss, meaning, and hope on their path from warfighter to veteran.
