To highlight President Reagan’s Peace Through Strength Initiatives, the Reagan Library dedicated this M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank on December 4, 2021. Designed in the 1970s, it was issued to the U.S. Army in February 1980.

President Reagan led a significant military upgrade in American history. The F-14 on display represents one of the two Tomcats from a Black Ace Squadron that engaged in the August 1981 encounter with two Libyan fighter planes.

Marine One is the call sign used when the President is on board one of the Marine Squadron Executive Flight Detachment fleet helicopters. It is used to take the President of the United States on short trips; mainly to the White House.
